3M™ QS2011-3T Series Cold Shrink Trifurcating Transition Splice Kit is a specially designed 15kV splice to connect a 3/C paper insulated lead covered (PILC) cable to three 1/C Poly/EPR insulated cables. Poly/EPR cables include CN, JCN, LC, tape shield, wire shield, poly/EP lead or UniShield® cables.
3M™ QS2011-3T-WS Cold Shrink Trifurcating Transition Splice Kit includes 5 bags. Bag 1 includes a jacket tube, sheath seal mold, oil stop tube, folded inner sheath seal, mastic pads and Super 33+™ electrical tape. Bag 2 contains oil barrier tubes, splicing tape 130C, restricting tape and an outer sheath seal and shield to lead continuity straps. Bag 3 has splice bodies/jacketing tubes, shield sleeves and P55/R grease. Bag 4 includes mastic strips/tape/pads, U-shaped ground braids and springs. Bag 5 has resin 4, Armorcast wrap, springs and mastic pads. The kit meets the requirements of IEEE 404 standards.
