It ensures a pliable, tight seal for jacketed concentric neutral and concentric neutral power cables. The conjunction of high dielectric-constant material and silicone rubber insulation allow the termination to withstand voltages from 5 to 25/28 kV.

3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III 7656-S-HSG Series High-Fault Current Termination Kit is designed for terminating medium-voltage power cables in applications requiring a high-ampacity ground. The track-resistant silicone rubber insulation of the termination has a hydrophobic property, which offers long-lasting service life while minimizing the leakage currents in wet conditions. The lower surface stress, high dielectric-constant material offers an optimized BIL performance while ensuring a leak-proof, compact fit. This kit is suitable for use with for tape shield, Wire-over-tape shield, longitudinally corrugated shield cables. IEEE Approved.
