3M™ 5545A Series Cold Shrink QS-III Inline Splice Kit is specially designed to splice 46 kV tape, wire, LC and UniShield ® power cable. The kit contains 1 cold shrink splice body that has a specially formulated silicone rubber construction to ensure high- and low-temperature performance. The computer-aided design offers a compact size and optimal distribution of the electrical field.

3M™ 5545A Series Cold Shrink QS-III Inline Splice Kit is perfect to use with aluminum or copper inline compression connectors. The jacket is made of EPDM rubber to provide a unique physical property. The cold shrink design ensures quick installation and excellent cable size transitions. The special electrode design of the kit reduces electrical stress at a critical cable/splice interface. The kit is suitable for inline splicing, feeder and distribution circuits, transitions from shielded to neutral power cables, size transition splicing, submerged locations and direct-burial installations. ANSI Certified and IEEE Approved.
