3M™ Double Coated Tape 97002 is a 2 mil black polyester (PET) film tape coated on both sides with high performance pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. This double sided tape provides permanent bond on foams, plastics, metals and composite materials subjected to a wide range of environmental conditions. The 74 lb polycoated kraft paper liner adds stability for processing.

Our 3M™ Double Coated Tape 97002 is a high performance tape specifically designed for the most demanding splicing and bonding applications. The acrylic adhesive is mounted on each side of a black polyester (PET) film carrier which improves the handling of the tape. The medium-firm acrylic delivers high initial and final adhesion for efficient laminating procedures. and adds stability during processes such as die-cutting and slitting.
