The 3M™ Wiremount Socket 79 Series is a wire-to-board IDC connecting solution that mates with 3M headers, plugs and pin strips for quick connect/disconnect capability. These copper alloy contact base sockets deliver excellent conductivity. The 3M socket 79 Series features a standard profile plastic strain relief for added durability and longevity.

The 3M™ Wiremount Socket 79 Series can be terminated with flat or discrete wire cable, and with centerbump and military polarization offers versatility in a range of applications.
