The 3M™ Power Clamp Wiremount Plug, 358 Series is a wiremount plug that uses insulation-displacement connector (IDC) technology for easy, labor-saving and reliable termination. With its easy field termination, there is no need for special tooling or wire preparation — no stripping or tinning required. The semi-transparent color-coded covers allow for easy wire inspection. This plug also features a robust latching mechanism that maintains a reliable interconnection in demanding field applications and requires only one hand to mate and unmate for field maintenance ease. The integrated dust cover provides a secure locking mechanism, while polarization ensures proper interconnecting of mated pairs. Additionally, this plug offers a quick-insertion panel-mount option.
The 3M™ Power Clamp Wiremount Plug is compatible with the CC-Link Communication Interconnect Standard. It is also Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant.
